A Trip in Satun

 

Last summer, my friends and I spent a few of days in Satun. Our trip was very challenge. It was the first experience for me to board an island with unforgettable moment.

Koh Hin Ngam

The sky was very clear, no clouds and rain buses. We reached Pak Bara harbor at the early morning. The Paradise tour boat was waiting for us. We moved our provisions into the boat. Our first destination, it was to board Koh Hin Ngam taking four hours to reach there. Once we arrived, crowds of beautiful ornamental fishes swam and turned around the colorful corals. Instantly, we jumped into the green bright beautiful sea to swim and look at the pure nature under the transparent water. Unbelievable, it still had plentiful nature like this. A lot of white and black glossy stone s stood in the island. There was the sign board noticing that “whoever stolen any stone on the island, he or she could not came back to the shore successfully according to Buddhist believe”

Koh Rawi

Paradise tour boat floated to Koh Rawi, another name was called “Koh Hadshai Khaw or White Sandy Beach”. It was because of the beach was very clean by the white sands. We walk along the warm finely beach. The dry and wet scent of the shells mixed the sandy smell made the beach had a natural odor. Then we were carried by the boat to Koh Adang.

Koh Adang

The tourists usually liked to take on a weekend camping trip on Koh Adang. Resorts, toilets, and fresh water were available in the island. We finally reached here at the late evening and gazed the beautiful calm sunset scenery. We brought the food to have a dinner here. We opened our tents and had a good sleep inside the tents under the pine trees. Although it was a silent place where only a few people stayed overnight, I felt not lonely because of the skipping waves and blowing wind sounds.

Koh khai

An emerging of the sun above the gray sea water in the early morning woke us up from a deeply sleep. Koh Khai was the next island we achieved. It stood between Koh Adang and Koh Tarutau. The attraction of this beautiful island, it has the turtle’s egg-laying site. This was the reason why the island was called “Koh Khai” which meant Egg Island. We were fun with taking a photo of this beautiful scenery.

Finally, we reach Tarutau Island, Thailand’s first national park where had its prisoner and pirate memorial history. We met many tourists here. We rented the rental mountain bike riding through the national park and tight shrubs. Two sides of the streets were full with the big and small trees. We stopped our bike and sat under a big tree seeing a lower and deep abyss in front of us below. I snuffed natural scent as much as I could. Unfortunately, we couldn’t

On the backward from the islands, we met a strong and heavy fearful rain. The waves were rising up at height. Our medium white boat was forcefully shook. A big pot on the stove fell down to the grown. The food was scattered widely. We all asked for the Almighty Allah to safe us until getting the shore. When the boat was nearly to the harbor, the wind stopped shouting and the sea was calm down. I felt such I had a new life after the death.

Royal flora ratchaphruek garden (Replacing TTI)

   

It seemed as my first experience to travel around the world took the time only a few hours. After visiting Chiang Mai University, our bus moved forward to the royal flora ratchaphruek – an all in one garden. Here was the source to show the variety of the world garden styles.

Once, we arrived there, we went to pay the entrance and took a long trolley that could contain fifty of us. The train carried us to take sightseeing gardens on both sides of the road. There were many points for the train to stop. If we interested in any garden, we could take off and walked through the sidewalk to touch the beautiful garden closely.

I noticed at Cambodian, Chinese, Egyptian, Turkish, Japanese, Dutch, Malaysian, and Vietnamese garden. Beyond, it provided the desert plant, soilless, and Temperature greenhouses to be observed for tourists. The Eggyptian garden was set into the desert atmosphere. The pyramid was stood at the middle surrounded by the arranged date palms. The dry scent of the northern summer made me feel such having a deeply touch with this warm fascinating place. The dry and wet sweet summer wind blew through the Egyptian garden. My head cover flopped in this dried breeze. I sat on a cozy couch under a date tree to take a rest in such imaginary desert world.

Night Bazar (Repacing Pasar Nalam)

 

An interesting activity of the tourists who visit Chiang Mai is to shop at “Night Bazar”

Here is the best colorful and lively place for the people who escape shopping at a big center. Every lane and street in this area is overflowing with the local handcrafts, northern products and foods. All are at low price. It seems like a large market in a big town. A few of cars, tuk-tuks, and motorbikes run on the roads. At the each side of the alleys, the crowds of traveler are sightseeing, shopping, bargaining, and buying the souvenirs.

I shuffled my slippers through to the food section with a little pat. Various kinds of northern food stood in the deep trays. The smelly curries floated into my nose. I noticed at Khou Soi – Thai curry soup with noodle, the most popular northern Thai food. Although I have never tasted, it was very good and delicious. After having this special diet, I came back to Pech Ngam hotel and have a deeply sleeping in the warm northern weather.

My Family Member

Unexpectedly, the difference can create the happiness. Why? Here is a decisive person. He has thick beards grow on his chin and cheeks.  It makes him looked fearful. He likes wearing a short-sleeved and sarong staying at home. He does not work at all because of his aged disease. My beloved mom is very kind and friendly. She cooks very tasty. She likes to meet and converse with people, not similar to my dad. My sister is an active and sociable lady. She does not pretty, but people know her as a social helper. She is flexible, persistent, and hard working. She is called the father’s daughter. Me myself, I do not know what kind of person I am. My friends say that I am friendly and sociable. I think, I am alive and humorous as well because my mom and dad always smile and laugh whenever I speak and talk. I have small and short eyebrows with small eyes that ready to close when I feel sleepy. The last member of our family is our dearest brother. He likes playing football. He is the tallest among others and looks very smart in a sport coat. He is self-centered maybe because of he is the youngest member in the family. After praying Isha, it is the time for family discussion. Sometimes we have the different ideas among us, but it ends happily through the reasonable and religious rules. Different people, different characters, different thoughts, but we are unity.

The Traveling of Rain

I run in the warm river at night.

I flew to the hot air at day.

Then, I was taken to meet my friends by the wind.

We gathered and became a big and heavy body.

We could not bear our weights anymore.

So, we separated and went out to different ways.

I decided to visit a big wooden and cement house.

I fell down and pattered at the tiled roof.

There was a charming lady standing at the window.

She held a paper and pen noticing at me.

She was thinking to deal with these things.

I told her to write my long and so far adventure.

Then, I bid her farewell and flowed to a stream.

I met a lot of friends there and prepared myself for a new journey.

Some could see how used I was?

Tell them that I was luscious and fresh-scented rain to make a better world.
